Inspired by the Three Graces in Botticelli’s Primavera, this painting reimagines the iconic figures through a darker and more intimate lens. The three women are caught in a continuous exchange of movement and touch, their intertwined gestures suggesting connection, femininity and sisterhood. Set against a deep black background, the figures emerge almost as if suspended outside of time, allowing their bodies and expressions to become the sole focus. The work draws on the elegance and symbolism of Renaissance painting while giving the familiar mythological motif a contemporary interpretation.
